Hi!
As said the fog lights are dead. Checked the fuses under the steering wheel, changed the bulbs and checked the wiring under the front bumper, all looks good but still no lights.
Any ideas? :(
Cheers,
Martin

might sound silly, but have you checked the connection which clips on to the rear of the bulb housing? as the connectors inside do bend with time and get a bit iffy! :y
-
Can it bend while it is connected to the bulb?
And as i was replacing the bulbs today the plugs seemed to be okay.
By the way they both "died" at the same time..
-
Test for power at the fuse, the switch and the bulb. :y

ok didnt know that? so now would agree with Broomie! :y

Does the switch light up? Do they come on while you hold the switch in? Fog light switches on omega are poor quality.
-
Yes, the switch seems to be working, light comes up on the dash but nothing happens on the front end. I was just outside testing the power and nothing goes to the lights.
So i think we can say that itīs the switch, or... Now if i think i may had the same problem on my other Omega but it healed itself somehow.
Can anyone tell me how the f... i can get the light switch out from the dash?

Two thin blades either side of lighing switch to depress locking tabs and unit slides out :y

Wiring diagram in Haynes shows the switch feeding F16 then feeding both the lamp in the instrument cluster and the fog lamps.
If the lamp in the cluster comes on then the switch & the fuse are OK. Points to a broken wire somewhere. Don't forget to check the earth as well as the feed.........

First, a big thanks to you all :y
Wiring diagram in Haynes shows.........
..unfortunately i don't have that manual, so can you lend me the page where is fog lights wiring shown?
And for more information, i had the engine heating installed a little while ago and few days later the lights died. Put as i was inspecting the wires earlyer today i didnīt saw any damages under the front bumper. Go figure... :(

Hows your German mate? Download Opel elec drawings Here (http://www.omegaspareparts.com/resources/Opel_Omega_Electrical_Diagrams.pdf) HTH :y

You need to check with a meter... Not uncommon for the connections to corrode in the loom but it could also be a relay ;) As said above, you need to get the wiring diagram and work it through :y

Hi!
Did some more measuring and in the fog lights plug( with four wires) located in the bumper:
from black and brown wire the reading is 11.40 volts and from the blue wires its 4.82 volts. But no reading from the bulb connections( well there was a movement about 0.09volts for a second...).
Where is that relay located?
Cheers,
Martin
