Have you not got an email account then? Give him your email details and ask him to send you an invoice to that which you can then pay by paypal; you do NOT need to give your paypal account details, if anyone asked for mine in similar circumstances I would suspect a con and cease all communication..... ::) ::)
-
You can send him any e-mail address you choose, doesn't have to be linked to your PayPal account...
https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/receive
With just a few clicks, you can get paid by debit card, credit card, or PayPal transfer. All you need to request a secure payment is their email address, even if they don’t have an existing account with us.

I nearly bought a belly pan for my fazer from an ebay breaker.
The item posted on ebay was for a later model, he had the correct one so I passed my paypal email address & received the invoice. i changed my mind & emailed the seller accordingly.
