Title: Permission requested...
Post by: Brikhead on 06 February 2013, 14:52:23
I'm looking to offload my Saxo and have it listed for sale on the tinternet, I also have a watch list on fleabay that is full of Omegas...
Would I be allowed to ask for an Omega on this Forum and offer my current motor up as part of the deal?

I think that opens a whole scenario that would be impossible to manage.

Based on that, I vote no. Sorry.

Permission denied, yet you are still going ahead? Bizarre.

Why ask then?  ;D

I also vote no.

Not that it was actually a vote.

Will delete the eBay link.

Thinking about suspension of brikhead for blatant flaunting of obvious forum rules, TBH.

Deleted the link to the external site which is against forum rules.

Brikhead banned for the weekend.

Sod it.

Ban amended to indefinite.

We have too much history between him and the admin team over his flaunting of the selling guidelines. He knows the rules and appears to not give a whatsit.

And neither do I, frankly.

Did not see the thread but if he did later do what was denied, thats clearly a pish take :(

oh he did .. readily visible and both an insult and a snub to TB's polite comment.

I sometimes wonder if folks set out to make the moderating job the guys do twice as hard as it needs to be deliberately. In days past when I was a mod on another forum I often thought some people saw the mods as a "challenge"

I totally understand Broocies point of view, and might have done his second action first had it been me !!! .. but he is far more thoughtful and controlled than I am !!!

Went beyond pushing his luck...well and truely beyond in this instance.

If this was a line crossing exercise, Brikhead is now the world record holder at the long jump.

The man asked for Permission, Permission denied and that should be the end of the matter, unless the OP flaunts the decision THIS TIME. If you've let it pass before, that is Sine Dei and makes this decision by the Admin/s reprehensible in my view, which will mean the total sum of bugger all since you've already sewn it up. :-X
