Hi
I'm looking for a way to lower my 2.2 dti saloon About 1 inch without stiffening it. Something like lowering springs with the standard spring rate. I have looked but with no joy.
I understand that this may cause the car to bottom out easier but its very rarely i would drive on roads that would cause that.
Thanks

No manufacturer will ever purposely manufacturer a spring to a car spec that allows the suspension to bottom out.
The lower you go the stiffer it gets.
Don't go lower than 30mm or the settings are not achievable without further modification, btw.

H&R -40mm hasnīt made my 2,5 saloon any stiffer. but it has buttomed out once or twice, but that was at 3 times the speed limit on the road

Thanks, i'll have a look into h&r. Does anybody have Any recommendations for springs As close to standard as possible

By its nature, it needs to be stiffer, as you MUST reduce the suspension travle if lowering.
