well after replacing the gearbox filter and oil i still have the same problem sometimes you start her and it will be like it is in limp mode then turn her off start again it will be fine got the spanner light on dash with code code p0706- drive position indicator not within target range, do you think the the selector switch needs cleaning thanks all

wouldn't hurt to try.  Quick and easy job to clean :y

From memory, P0706 is range switch = selector switch in English.
