Yeah Pod not far at all , last time i went in was summer nationals and i had the carlton , many moons ago  ;)

I think they have closed the tin shed behind the strip  :-\ we use to get a right smoking from the jet car  ;D

When I was married had a property registered as a farm just 3 miles from the pod - used to hear the old Rover rocket car running up quite often.  Used to ride the horses up there quite often.  Nostalgia rules ok ;)

I think the Pod has done well to survive the current climate , many years ago when i went it was £14 each .. checking the site for this years similar event shows its still the same price  :o Think ill be poppin to it in June  all being well .

See how the pug stands against the V8's  ;D Its great having your ear drums busted all day at the strip , better than getting them busted at home  ::) ::) :D

   i went to santa pod for the first time last year on PVS day. Took SWMBO and she thourly enjoyed herself, wants to know if we are going again this year!
