Title: wire in the bonnet

hi all
i was putting on a new bonnet to my prefacelift omega and noticed a wire going into the lining of the bonnet could any one help by telling me whats it for?

depending on your car, the power for the heated washer nozzles?

thats Probably it. I didnt realise they were heated thank you  :y
