Title: Fisherman's Friends
Post by: pscocoa on 11 February 2013, 22:45:14
A rather weird experience regarding this tragic incident.

My father in law died in Cornwall in 2011 and at the time of the funeral we were staying in Tregony and I was a frequent visitor to the Kings Arms. There was a competition/ loyalty card for the purchase of Tribute Brewery beers linked to Fisherman's Friend and to cut a long story short I ended up with a cd of their music.

Not seen the cd since.

Drove back from Manchester yesterday and listened to  the tragic news. Arrived back home and went into a spare room for some files and there was the Fisherman's cd. I said something weird had happened and turns out my wife had found  it a day or so before and just put it in the spare room on its own.

Just felt so strange

My life is full of stuff like that. It either means that some of us are more 'receptive' than others, or some of us just pay more attention to what goes on around us.  :-\
