Title: Secondary Air Injection Pump
Post by: rikki_essex on 19 February 2013, 13:49:34
Just reading all the info about the pump as i think mine is playing up on start up. Does any body know what the difference is between pulling the fuse and unplugging it and what is recommended and if pulling the fuse is ok can you please tell me what fuse it is. And once its  unplugged do i have to remove any thing else or can i just leave it. TIA Rik

There's a nice clear picture of the SAI pump in this pic, posted by RobG, whilst illustrating something else entirely.  It's not the two disc-shaped things with wiring, but the thing just inboard of them:

Thanks for the help but I've just gone out and unplugged the middle bit of the picture posted but the noise is still there do I have to disconnect both parts of it or just the one in the middle. If it just the middle bit then I guess I will have to investigate further.
