just unpluged that stupid thing by the scuttle . but pluged it back in . going of for ages . how long does it go for after you unplug . thanks :y :y :y

So is it in the car or not?

If it is, start stop the car should silence it

it its off the car, bucket of water should silence it

Take it off.It may well set fire to the whole car at some point. ;)

As Albs says above unplug it and remove it as soon as possible.  If siren still going chuck it in a bucket of water ;)
