Right I've just bought a new battery lets see how long it stays charged for!!! >:(

Have you seen Kevs guide in diagnosing battery or Alternator faults? Worth a look of not. ;)

The one I have, Varta 74Ah, managed to hold enough cranking power for more than a week of not being used.

I had a prob on my vectra battery wouldn't stay charged turned out it was the clamps where the wires are crimped into them with engine running check voltage on the clamps and then voltage on the wire as they enter the clamps on mine I had 9 volts on clamps and 14.4volts on wires had them resolderd by auto electrician prob solved after having 3 batteries
