Title: Corsa brake discs......2003 1.2 SXI
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 02 March 2013, 13:29:51
Looking through the slots in the front wheels, the discs appear to be vented.
However, the genuine GM parts I have ( GM 9195981) are solid.

Is this a problem?

Thanks, Chaps. :y

Thanks , Henry and Omegod. :y

I'll take them back to the dealer.

Are the pads the same for vented and solid discs?. If not I'll also need to return those (GM 93176114)

According to the Corsa forum, the 1.2 has 11mm solid discs if non-abs.........or 20mm vented discs if the car is fitted WITH abs.

Mrs Opti's pride and joy has abs :y

.......they also say that a hex socket ??? ??? is needed.

I'll wager that I have to pay extra for the vented discs.

Can someone tell me the GM part number please. :y

No clue to the part no, pretty sure they will insist you have the gold plated ones though.

9195985 for the discs (which are £1 cheaper than the solids)
93182590 for the kit (which is much cheaper than the discs alone but more expensive than the solid kit).
