Err, no.....

Debs wrote about her experiences here Crank Sensor Variants (esp 2.5 V6 (X25XE))  (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=96562.0).

You should be safe with the 2.6 because there is only one listed (and it is the cheaper one :y)

Tradeclub says:

Omega ('94-'03)
Crankshaft Sensors
Application    Description    Part No.    Retail    Trade    Trade Club
2.6i 24v - Y26SE       90492006    £87.50    £78.75    £68.24
2.6i 24v - Y26SE       90540743    £57.50    £51.81    £44.57

Which isn't very helpful............

2.6 takes the cheaper one.

Not sure I'd use a used one as a spare though...

90492006 has the "old type" connector (metalclip side lock)

90540743 has the "new type" connector (plastic front lock)

on my 3.0 there was a choice of two... cant remember the numbers but one had a plastic sensor end and one was a metal end , i am on my 4th one now  :o
if you have a quick look before and see if yours is metal or plastic it might save u some agro.  :)

EPC is unclear, hence the usual guff from dealers when ordering.
