Just got my 3.0 elite and the ncdc2013 is missing so i need one.

I have a 2013 with GID screen.It needs a new nav laser though.Laser is available for around £40.

If i buy a second hand unit cant I tech 2 it to my gid?

If you GID (and telematics, if fitted) are depaired, then you need a NCDC that is depaired, or paired with a known code. Then it can be tech2'd

Given that the GIDs are pretty reliable (backlights aside), and worth absolutely sod all, I'd see about getting a paired NCDC/GID package.
