Her revenge wasn't so sweet then ??? ;D ;D

Oh Chris, big winstons waiting :-* :-X :-X :D
-
Speaking of waiting TG. :D ........cough MID cough. ;D
Length of sentence isnt that important. His career is destroyed, which is the important thing. :y
The fact that they lied for so long means that this case has cost the taxpayer a huge amount of money. It would be nice if these two multi millionares were made to pay the cost of their lies, but I dont suppose thats ever going to happen. >:(

well you say that...it was only speeding and tbh in the bigger scheme of things (duck houses on expenses) why did'nt he just sign the form and take the points???

Because he would have been banned for "Tot up" ;)
-
this is true but he was a minister don't they all get cars+drivers??
-
He was an MEP at the time with ambitions to build a career at westminster. ;) Although he also was/is a multimillionare who could easily have afforded a chauffeur.
Much of the lefty media has portrayed this "personal tragedy" as a speeding case which got complicated because of who he was. It was no such thing. It was perverting the course of justice by someone who makes laws, because he is very obviously one of the breed who think the rules are only for the little people and his kind dont need to take any notice of them.
This was demonstrated by his actions four days before he was due in court when he was photographed driving the wrong way down a one way street and turning right into a road with a very clear "no right turn" sign displayed.
Imo he got off very lightly as far as the justice system goes, but its highly unlikely he will have any future at all in politics,so alls well that ends well.

What would his ban have been for "Tot up"? ??? 6 months? :-\
He wasn't a minister in 2003 when they lied about who was driving so wouldn't have had the ministerial car, but I bet he could have put all his taxis on expenses! ::) I expect when he's bending over for Big Winston he'll be feeling a little foolish!! :)

They recon with his superiority complex, he going to get a lot of personal attention from Big Winston. ;D ;D ;D ;D
Sound like he now has the required experience and character to have a well paid job, pension and expenses as part of the EU commission in Brussels, maybe as a budget auditor. :o :o :o :o
Any bets on that is where he ends up. :o :o :o :o

He was banned anyway, shortly afterwards for using his mobile phone whilst driving.

There are some people I just don't like, no particular reason for it, just don't like. He is one of them.
