Post by: zirk on 11 March 2013, 21:27:05
Been using this over WiFi with no probs, but iplayer now saying no no, no longer supported, is it just me or anyone else having issues, tend not to watch anything but just catch up on downloads.  >:(

Symbian is dead in the water....

Are you using an App? recall iplayer for windows mobile devices is moving to a browser based setup, as it's not worth building an app.

BBC have discontinued the service for symbian, older android and older windows devices but you still have the option for some of downloading direct from the BBC website (for now)  :y

Sorted, download another Browser and changed the User Agent config script, iPlayer thinks Im a iPad now and lets me in, can also download in HD  :y

Also tried it on the old SE Satio, which was long dead on iPlayer, also works well and lets me download, although cant live stream on it, still working on that one.  ;)
