Title: Travelling mechanic
Post by: bedders on 13 March 2013, 17:54:56
It's some time since I was last on here, but after 11 years of ownership, I still love My old girl. :y

My question is : with a cambelt change required in the very near future, plus breathers & anything else needed, is there anyone willing to do this in the Brigg area of North Lincs?

I have used a local garage for this work, with good results, but if the work would be useful to anyone, within travelling distance, feel free.

Thanks,
John.

I would have suggested Concorde, but you'll have to make do with the QE3 :P

Feel free as in making contact, rather than as in free labour.

There were/are experts on here who could do cambelts blindfolded  :o

Actually, I could probably fit one blindfolded, but it may be attached to the diff.

Thanks for the reply.

Both are some distance away, but if they can combine my work with another in the area, it may be worth their while.
I'll see if they reply to the question, if not a PM may be in order.

As I say, I'm happy with my local garage, but if the work is of any use to either of them, all the better.

John.
