I just bought a Mercedes Sprinter camper van on a 53 plate. on the trip home I got a warning light up on the dash with EMD in red on it. Several miles later, I came across a flooded road with about two foot deep water. i drove through slowly but afterwards got another warning light with a picture of a wheel and staggered lines around it, ABS? If so on this one, prehaps because the sensors got so wet. Any thoughts people?

yellow light with lines for traction control, must be wet sensor, let it dry out and then see how it goes
as for emd not sure about that 1 :y

also make sure you use the right spec oil in it for these engines, they dont like the cheap stuff and can cost alot to sort it out after :y

What oil do they use? will the trade club 10/40 semi be ok? it has the 2.2 diesel fitted. Does go and drive nice for a big van.

I searched for ages for EMD last night......nothing ???
Didn't Dave (Taxi driver) have one of these?

I too find nothing when it comes to 'EMD' on the Sprinter Dash.
EBV - You probably don't have this, but it's Electronically Controlled Brake-Force Distribution.
EDC - ECU Failure or Contaminated Fuel Filter
These are the only two which light up in red on the dash, as far as I can find. Unless it is something to do with the Camper part?????
