Currently looking for at least 4 decent Android developers, to join the mobile dept. My requirement has suddenly gone to the top of the pile :-X We've had people in but none have been up to scratch.
iOS developers are available by the truck load, but there appears to be a real lack of decent Android Devs around at the moment :-\ :(

He is 17, pretty good at most subjects but shite at maths ::)

Mainly experience, need to get on an apprenticeship scheme really.
Other option is applying to jobs at start ups where they don't have big budgets, they can get people in to train up :)

Not at all, I'm just trying to get an idea of Tunnie's requirements. Java is the main language used, but Java is slow, C/C++ are much faster, especially C, but there are also other languages like JRuby. I'm assuming the App will have a video streaming element, so I would have though speed would be important hence the question?
A friend of mine runs a London based technical recruitment company, so if Tunnie is interested, I can ask him if he has anybody on his books with suitable experience. The is no point in him looking for an Android developer with Java experience and no C/C++ experience if this is what Tunnie needs.
Do you use "Enterprise" development environment?
If Tunnie is interested in seeing if my friend has anybody suitable, he can PM me with the full job details which I will pass on to him.
