Title: Abs pump part nos
Post by: tidla on 25 March 2013, 09:06:56
Slightly confused as to the array of part numbers used on these.

Im after a straight forward swap possibly with the intention of just swapping the electronics bit in situ.

BBa have a list of part numbers,

0 265 220 427 is mine.

This is the only number i can see with the unit still in situ.

This number is on the aluminum pump block.

These are not the only numbers quoted on egay. You also have ecu numbers quoted and for example DX and DY numbers.

Is a number match on the alley block enough for a straight swap?

In thoery yes as that is the main assembly number.

Best option for ABS acu fault is still an ecu repair

I dont doubt that, the £200 repair cost keeps getting put off and mot time looms so chance time on a £20 unit.

Thanks muchley
