Is this the small pane in the rear door, or do you mean the glass in the rear quarter of an estate?
If the door, you'll need to remove the main glass which IIRC you'll need to drill out the rivets for the winder mechanism. I'm sure there's a bolt in the top of the rear guide under the rubber seal at the top.
I'm guessing that the rear quarter glass of an estate s bonded in ......  :-\ :-\ :-\

there is no quarter light glass in a saloon..

A saloon has a rear door vent and a estate has a rear door vent and a rear quater light

Lets be clear what we are talking about here ..saloon has a rear door drop and a door vent (triangleish)

Estate has a rear door drop and a door vent (rectangleish) And a rear quarter light

Both bits of glass on the door are removed in the same manner whether saloon or estate.

Rear quarter glass on estate is removed by undoing the bolts exposed when you remove the D and C post trims and the luggage cover runner.

Swapping the door is undoubtedly easier  :-\

But Mr Haynes' fantastic book of blox is as good a guide as any for this job :y
