Although, due to nasty conservative cutbacks, I believe sky sports may be withdrawn. :(

I`ve been watching this program for a few months now via various torrent sites.... its set 15 yrs after somebody turns the power off completely world wide, thus sending mankind back to  pre-industrial times. World wide gvts collapse and are replaced by small republics run by dictators. the story follows a group of friends and a uncle niece combo looking for her brother who`s kidnapped by a dictator who was a friend of the uncle who was a former Spec ops marine. In turn they discover rebels who want to return the old American way of life. Since no electric or any mechanical items now work, the story goes into flashbacks of how and what happened and we discover that some people hold a pendant of which their are nine apparently which can disperse the negative field which stops electrical items working and allows them to communicate via patched together computers. then we meet a man called randle who was with the D.O.D. US Govt and we find out that they where responsible for this weapon being created and used. Its then we see through flashbacks that there was a internal struggle within the US Govt and somebody flicked the switch and sent humanity into the dark ages. The main antaganists are the Matheson family I.E. kidnapped son and his sister who goes in search of him and the former U.S. marine spec ops uncle(who just so happens to be the dictators former friend and head of his army) and the mother who for some reason was meant to be dead!! but was his captive and has been working on a way of amplifying the pendants so that they can power his military vehicles and allow him to conqueror the other republics that govern the USA.. :y

No, me neither, it's shite.

Grim acting not helped by a waste of space screenplay. (is there a 'thumbs down' smiley?)

Thats what you find with a lot of US series, they start off looking impressive then are so long winded and wordy
(like this post) that in the end you forget what it,s all about. ::)
