Title: door check strap, product recall.

i went to get the bits to mend the passanger door check strap on saturday and the parts man in the dealership remembers an in house bulletin (posh for memo) of a product recall for the omega on this, has any one else heard of this, he is currently checking it out, he phoned me up today asking where i got the part numbers from for the kit, i told him i got them from OOF, also i thought if this wasnt an problem they knew about on migs then why do they do the plates to sort it out????
so will let you know what i find out about the product recall situation andd if any of you know anything let me know ;D ;D

Found this mentioned on TIS but I think you're a bit late, the field repair says at the bottom:
The costs for this repair will be covered for vehicles not older than
3 years and a mileage lower than 100.000 km.
