yep.. after some trial finally found the correct codes..
X25XE manual MID code : 17
X30XE manual MID code : 19
if you dont choose these values for MID (from Tech 2) , it will show erroneous consumption values and will ask for autobox ecu..

Sadly, these codes are not always valid cem, other factors will influence them.
I could list pre 98 MID codes, as there are only a few, but post 98 is more complex...
...maybe I could list them when I get time, but in the meantime, if anyone needs code indexes, I'll look them up :)

I kinda like the "automatic transmission" message on start-up. Its sort of ironic......

We hve the power to turn that off. Well, H21, MDTM, Old Man Wood and I do ;D
Or you can ground a wire, ideally through a pull-down resistor.

What are these codes for?

What are these codes for?
The display, to configure it right for your car.
-
Is it to get rid of the automatic transmission message on startup?
I've done a auto to manual conversion and i'm just curious to what this is

Whats the last letter of you VIN
-
The last letter is V

Ah, not a real MV6 then, ex-plod?
OK, so its an old style MID, so for 3.0l with manual transmission, you need config given by code index 019 :)
-
It is indeed a real MV6, although it is an Opel.

Ah ha! Silly me, made an assumption ;D
How does spec compare with Vauxhall MV6?
-
iirc Opel MV6 = Vauxhall Elite? ish.
-
I'm not shure what you're thinking about but it had all equipment except for xenon and leather seats
3 electric mirrors, electric seats w/memory, heated seat back and front 2 zone climatecontrol, rear door fans, electric windows and sunroof, cruisecontrol, computer, height ajustable rear dampers etc
-
"elite" name not used on opel (at least here) and I never heard of it.. but MV6 is very common..
however, as those cars 1st hand owners pay silly money , most of their cars are later loaded with extra specs..
so I cant see any difference except the sporty chairs with MV6 :-\

That was what I thought, though wonder if it varies from country to country?
Still interested in the spec though :)

So pretty similar to our Elites, but without leather - in UK, Elite 3.0l had leather as standard, with cloth as non cost option, other Elites had cloth with leather as a cost option.
