Hello Mike, the maintenance guide on here is particularly helpful for this job, not sure if you've seen it?
-
yes thanks for that but do i have to clean the 4 small pipes at the back of this
-
If you mean the rubber pipes then yes, absolutely.
The breather box that these pipes connects to sits down near the bulkhead on the drivers side, and is a pig to get at, but its worth doing this too as suggested, particularly if never done before. :y

thanks

As above mate, you do. It is easier to remove the wipers and scuttle to gain access. Having looked at the guide, follow the pipes back and remove them and clear them. With the larger breather pipe that splits into the 'Y' there is a circlip or similar that needs to be released to enable removal. Once removed, do ensure you clear the crud from both small and large pipe connections/supply fittings.
Do shout if you need any further info. Do make sure the breathers are clear across the top of the inlet manifold too.

You also need to clean out black "box" on top of plenum - need to ondo bagpipe hoses and remove plenum. Seperate throttles from plen and then you can remove black "box". You will probably require o-rings seals and the "top hat" seal. Soak in carb cleaner, blow out until all 4 "tracks" are clear :y Think its all in howto in maintenance area :y hth
