				Changed interior(same year,52)
airbag light came on.Had it read showingcode
sba6(omniscan reader) on the drivers seat.
Grateful for any help.

Did you diss battery before seat removal?

			-
				battery disconnected
codes were cleared but came back
changed airbag units for ones
off original seats which I knew were
good.Same result.

			-
				Disconnect the battery etc, etc.
Carefully inspect the wiring at the seat connectors. Suspect a busted wire on the car side of one of the yellow plugs :-\

			-
				checked connections
all o.k.

			-
				What was the actual code?

if this is right where is the sensor
pad located?

			-
sounds like op has got the disable function for airbags with transponder chip in passenger seat for baby car seats and not the new ones fitted

IIRC yours is a 2.2. What spec were the donor seats from?

You said it was a code "drivers seat". Are you sure it wasn't passenger?

			-
				I'm half expecting codes 45, 46 or 95

`52 plate should have child seat transponder in front passenger seat. When fitting pass seat did you connect the flat yellow rectangular plug from your loom?

			-
did i not say that way back

OP has the SRS (airbag) warning on dash. I reckon as his is a 2.2 CD spec the child SRS module in replacement Elite seat has been connected hence the warning. Just waiting for OP to respond to my Q

				I did connect yellow one
It wasn,t connected in previous seats

Yellow one is for child seat transponder. Yours being a CD spec wouldn`t have had the SRS ECU configured for it hence the reason for it being not connected. Disconnect the yellow flat plug then get the light reset

			-
				Thanks for that.
cannot get light reset till monday.
Once again thanks to all.

				Under the drivers seat there,s
a black connector labelled

			-
				Finally got code reader.
Showed 77,78.
cleared codes seems fine.

			-
				It,s back on
code 77.driver side airbag circuit resistance too high
code 78    "       "        "         "           "            "    low
Had stayed off for 2 days.
