I think Lee Evans is a modern Norman Wisdom.

You may be right - I can't stand either of them.  And that goes for Phil Cool too.

And Jim Carrey and Steve Martin in his early films.  I'm just not amused by people who make funny faces.  :P :-[ :-X :-/ :o

I`m not sure most people find sight-humour that funny: often I think their laughter is to release the uncomfortable feeling that such bizarre stage behaviour raises within the audience; Barrymore was a good example; people watched because his (clearly-deranged) act behaviour was just like rubbernecking at a car-crash or disaster....one really shouldn`t look, but just can`t help oneself!

Personally, I`m not a fan of sight-humour....the practitioners seem too a`kin to children`s Tv. presenter`s antics for my liking....but, they do seem to have a 'following'.  ;)
