I wouldn't turn my nose up at it in pink.

£49,000. :o :o :o

Thats cheap as chips if you compare it to a similar spec'd estate car, like an Audi for instance

If I start earning that sort of cash, then I fear Mothers mortgage will be top of the list :-\

Yep. But I don't believe that anyone (in their right mind) paid that much.
Anything more than the £28,000-£30,000 mentioned and you open the door to some pretty tasty machinery.
A Vauxhall should be 'good value'..........at almost fifty grand it loses that advantage.
Tis nice though. :y :y
-
looks a little like the vectra vrx saw a very nice one the other day sounded great too estate of course :y
-
"At last, a TRUE Omega Estate replacement!"
I actually got very excited then, expecting a HUGE powerful estate. Hmmmm . . . not so huge.
If someone came up with a modern Omega sized car, in terms of rear load area without stupid angled rear doors etc, I'd buy one. today ( errr. . . . . . not at £49k though). I don't really care about "fast", just some decent grunt and big carrying ability.
I'm seriously beginning to think about my next car, and a new shape 2.3 Mondeo Estate is looking like a front runner

Like it . . . . .want one :P

In my humble opinion £49,000 is crazy money for a mere Vauxhall.......having said that The Lotus Carlton cost £48,000 way back in 1990.
I bought a house that year.......a three bed semi with a garage. Cost £41,000. :o :o :o

Yes,but was the equivalent of a supercar back then,170+mph top end :y
-
That's where you went wrong Mr Opti ::)
If you only spent £21k on a house, you would've had £20k for a nice mint Carlton and change for a Monaro daily driver :y
Hindsight and all that ::)
