Title: 3.0 vs 3.2 Inlet Manifold
Post by: tunnie on 09 April 2013, 23:32:48
Are they the same?

Bought 3.0 one from 2woody with intention of fitting to 3.2, assumed they were the same? With possible exception of petrol being at higher pressure?  :-\

Completely identical :y any difference will be the pressure regulator, but that should be clearly stamped, either 3.5/3.8/4.0 Bar :y

But that doesn't really matter because you swap the injectors and fuel rail (including regulator) from your car onto the replacement manifold :y

Yep, injectors and regulator are radically different (but never really looked into whether they would be "compatible". The casting is exactly the same. I'd always recommend retaining your original rail and injectors anyway.

The 2.5 and 2.6 are identical, and the 3.0 and 3.2 are identical.
