I watched the Prisoners for 45 minutes and then gave up.

I just hope that someone in authority was watching and does something. Fat chance.

- Bring back hard labour . How can prison be a more attractive alternative than life outside?

- Just where is the counselling for these folk? One guy thought it was all someone elses fault

- Not joined up. What is the point of releasing someone with nowhere to live , no job and no benefits and £60 in their pocket. How long do the authorities think it will be till they are back inside?

Another penal colony is required. Australia turned out quite well after all.

That was the comment we made, surely it's not beyond imagination to provide a half way house while they get sorted rather than leaving these people homeless. At least in prison they are warm and fed :(
