Title: Omega electric windows
Post by: Mala55 on 17 April 2013, 21:21:42
Hi, could anybody please help me with a problem on my Omega estate 3l MV6 year 2000? I have no electric windows and no electric wing mirrors working at all, have been around all of the obvious ie plugs and doors, connections to the doors and fuses. I feel like there is a main supply missing but don't know where it comes from. Can anyone please, please, please help????

Hi, thanks for the reply, I've checked all the fuses under the steering wheel and under the bonnet and none are blown anywhere.
Regards

Anything else electric not working, eg sun roof and central locking are on the same fuse as the mirrors?

Have you removed the switch assembly from the drivers door? Any sign of moisture :-\

even though you have checked the fuses, have you actually changed them ...? I had a car once (a sierra I think) and something wasn't working, and obviously I checked the fuse and it looked ok, turns out there was some kind of micro fracture in the fuse which couldnt be seen by eye. when I changed it it was working just fine.
