Hi, could anybody please help me with a problem on my Omega estate 3l MV6 year 2000? I have no electric windows and no electric wing mirrors working at all, have been around all of the obvious ie plugs and doors, connections to the doors and fuses. I feel like there is a main supply missing but don't know where it comes from. Can anyone please, please, please help????

What fuses have you checked

Hi, thanks for the reply, I've checked all the fuses under the steering wheel and under the bonnet and none are blown anywhere.

Anything else electric not working, eg sun roof and central locking are on the same fuse as the mirrors?
-
Have you removed the switch assembly from the drivers door? Any sign of moisture :-\

Check the following fuses -
1--30A Window operation
7--30A Electrically operated windows
11-10A Heated exterior mirrors
13-10A Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors
15-20A Reverse lamps, glove compartment lamp, automatic level control system, cruise control, seat and mirror adjustment, radio, heated rear seats, sun roof, instrument illumination, window operation, cooling fan, headlamp range adjustment

even though you have checked the fuses, have you actually changed them ...? I had a car once (a sierra I think) and something wasn't working, and obviously I checked the fuse and it looked ok, turns out there was some kind of micro fracture in the fuse which couldnt be seen by eye. when I changed it it was working just fine.

Did u get sorted about the problem?
I have the same problem at my 2000 2.2 auto wagon..
Sentral locking, speakers, light in windows buttons and door light working..
Fuses are ok..
Somebody who know the problem is?

little test, with door open wiggle the wiring between body and door, the wires break inside due to flexing with door opening and closing, got the same prob with my mv6, just got to find 5 mins to change loom over for a good sourced one
