The Omega has been my daily driver for 11 years now.
Can anyone claim longer continuous usage?
Not talking about ownership alone here, vehicles on SORN, used now and then etc but where it is used basically everyday.

2005 got mine, so 8 years.
Does it have to be same Omega though? FatherT is on his second Omega, his first we got in 1997, so 16 years! :)

2006 for me daily used :y

mid 2000 for me!

Three since 2006 ish. :y
Two auto and one manual. Have to say I'm not a fan the manual gearbox.

1999 I bought my first Omega which was a 97 CD estate.

I'm suprised you sold it Ken, you'd looked after it so well. Have you replaced it with something else?

I'm still driving the '99 TD Estate I bought at 7k in November 1999, still my daily driver, chipped with an AR 35 auto. Passed its MOT this morning with a few minor advisories. At 116k it is good for another 14 years, at which point I may have to use the 3.2 Elite a bit more often. ::) ::) ::) :y

Feb 1998, scrapped last year :'(

Ken - you wanted to buy my 3.2 at the last meet in Kent!!!

mid 2000 for me!
You seem to be the leader - so it is your daily drive and has been since mid 2000??

I think so as he is spoilt for choice ;D
A difficult one in these circumstances but hope you appreciate the point I was getting at.

As pscocoa says, his car is a very nice, well cared for example and if it had been for sale in recent months I would have bitten his hand off for first refusal..but have since bought a 3.2 from Elite Pete and am at the moment doing a bit of fettling on it,will probably have it on the road sometime next year :y

Mrs TB and I tend to share cars, rather than a "his and hers".
So, between us as daily drivers, the Silver Bullet will be 10yrs later this year, and currently 112k in our ownership, but the little Rover, that met its demise after losing an argument with a Passat, Audi A5, Laguna and a central reservation at 12yrs, 116k

The four years and one month to the day and 140k that I have had my '54 estate for, is the longest that I have ever owned a car. Think the shortest was about 3 months ::) :-X
Be nice to think I could keep it for 12 years, but might be pushing it some ;D

There's a nasty rumour going around that I like Omegas....can't see where that came from.Nitro towers is now not accepting anymore homeless Omegas until further notice...I think!! ;)

Doesn't 14 years count then? :-\ :-\ :-\::)

Sorry mate - missed that for some reason - you are our leader on this one most definite :y
I think I got caught on one of those cautions where I was posting at the same time as you

I still love driving both mine, and I'm well past the age of wanting a 'new' car every five minutes. The devil you know etc.... :y :y :y
