Hi is there a fuse for the cruise control cause mine has suddenly stopped working.
Many thanx John
-
fuse number 2 15 amp also covers brake lamps, hazard warning lights & fog tail lamp hth :y

Check you dont have a wire hanging loose by the brake/clutch pedal area, it not uncommon for feet to disturb wiring in this area......and will stop cruise from working :)
-
thanx but the lights work fine so don't think its the fuse, and I cant see any wires hanging down.
Any other ideas
Thanx John

could the stalk be at fault here?
-
don't know how can I check

Depending on the engine fitted, has any work been done under the bonnet which might have disturbed any connections on the throttle actuator :-\

Would be my guess too - they're guilty of failing.
To test: remove the steering column shroud and look for a little separate wiring lead with 4 cables in it coming out of the stalk. Disconnect it at the harness plug and use a multi-meter on "diode" setting.
Usual fault is the wires break where they flex with the movement of the stalk.

Check the clutch switch hasn't been moved as on my vectra the bracket had moved and needed bending back to make the switch work properly
