Title: door trim removal
Post by: MV6Danny on 21 April 2013, 22:21:46
Hi does anyone know how to remove the outer door trim that sits below the window? I am talking about the black plastic or rubber part. Also the two rear trims by the back window just above the boot lid on a saloon? Thanks

That guide is for door card removal. I want to remove the outer plastic rubber trim below the windows on all 4 doors.  :y

Start at the back and work your way forward.
Can be a bit of a bitch to get back on properly.
I warmed mine up in the oven a little before re fitting  ;)

If your talking about the door to window seal they just lever out.Start from the rear iirc. The quarter panel trims also just lever out,but be careful as they are quite easy to break.
If you mean the bump strips half way up the doors - what Tiger said. ;)
