Title: Jersey Royals
Post by: cleggy on 30 April 2013, 19:47:34
They are so late this year, even those just arriving are so small and very expensive. Last year Sainbury's was bragging that they were the first to stock them in February at £3 for a bag, this year the same size is £4. :(

I suppose we must blame the weather  :(

My garden has just started to show signs of life this week, we have buds appearing. My grape vine is showing no signs of life at all this year.
Goosebury has leaves and tiny fruit, raspberry the same. Loganberry keeps it leaves all year but is looking really poor.

Apple tree just come into blossom this week. Only seen 2 bumblebees all year, and one of them was in our conservatory, I wondered if it had been there all through the winter.

Come on sun, do your bit, we, and the plants need warming up a bit  :y
