Afternoon guys.
Have just bought another Omega, a 2.6 MV6 estate, and so far the only thing that irks me is it's single, tiddly exhaust pipe. She had a complete new system for her MOT before I got her, so getting the existing one off shouldn't be too traumatic...
So - where is the best place to source a twin-pipe back box - is it still Eternal Car or have things moved on??
My 3 and 1/2 Omegas... ;)

Eternal still gets my vote, but you will have to get a 2.5 Estate system.
Rear back box pipe will sit a little further back, but this can be resolved with a trim if you so wish :y

Can't I just get a 3.0 or 3.2 estate back box and fit that? If I get a 2.5 I'll be stuck with a single pipe again ;)

Sorry yes 3.0 cat back system if you want twin pipes :y
Eternal don't list 3.2 or 2.6 :y

On the Saloons, the genuine new VX exhaust looks wrong, as it's not a slash cut as the original once was. However, the new VX estate backbox looks very similiar to the original one's with the slash cut design.
Now with eternal, as tunnie says on the saloon it's too short but is slash cut, and would need finsishers. The Eternal estate backbox looks similiar to the VX system and is slash cut. I believe it is visible without finishers.
If purchasing with price in mind, go for the eternal. If purchasing for style, go with gen VX for the backbox.
My 3.2 saloon has middle sections from eternal, and an original double walled slash cut gen VX backbox. My 3.2 estate has a full cat back gen double skinned VX system.

No if you want the twin tail pipes just buy the 3.0 Estate back box :y
It will fit ok, but on the 2.6 you may need trim embellishers to get the exit position right.

I but a 3ltr on my 2.6 works fine. You will need the trims

Thanks for all the replies guys - the blue estate is my 9th Omega over the past 12 years... :) http://malcp.com/cars.htm (http://malcp.com/cars.htm)
Looking on the Eternalcar site they don't list an Omega 3.0 estate exhaust any more.... I'll ring them today to check. Any other recommendations if they can't supply one?

Will this fit my 2.5 facelift saloon as looks loads better than the single small pipe I've got now
-
Yep provided you get the saloon one - saloons and estates have slightly different exhausts and they are not interchangeable ;)
