Advert has gone up on billboard opposite work today for new Vauxhall Cascada.Appears to be a hard top convertible-a Tigra replacement?-doesn't look a bad affair, certainly a sight better than that Adam thing anyway!
-
Saw one in the dealers today .. top down looks quite smart, and bigger than I expected ... nopt seen one with the top up yet .. :)
-
Are they based on the Corsa,Astra or are they a stand alone model do you know?
-
I think I saw the same one at Hillmead on Tuesday Nige. It looks about Astra sized, but I didn't look at it very closely, other than to think that the two large dials would be partly obscured by the wheel rim with the seat well back. :-\
-
They're a standalone model apparently, interior is unique to the Cascada apparently. It's a soft top too, not a hard top ;).
-
Its a cut down Insignia Floor Pan with more or less the same running gear. Interior is Insignia and it has a rag roof.
Its pitched againist the A6 rag top.................

Optimistic for a firm that won't seriously import proper cars :-\

Just be rummaging through the gumph on Vauxhalls website...
Front suspension is VXR, rear is most definitely Astra J, and inspite of only letting me select a third of the options, it managed to reach nearly £37k with the twin turbo diesel lump :o
The Chevvy Camaro convertible starts at £40k...rwd, proper engine, proper fuel and proper gearbox...
