Title: 2.2 Dti fuel pump help

Hi im wondering if the fuel pump on a 2.2 dti is coded to the ecu or 2 will any 2.2 dti pump fit ?? its on a y reg car

Pretty sure they are coded,someone who knows for certain will be along soon :D :y

The pump controller is coded to the pump (its actually part of the pump and contains the pump Calibration settings) I don't recall it being coded to the ecu

Hi thanks for the replies the reason i ask is my dti has been wrote off today some idiot said he didn't see it parked up and took the back end off it. So due to us doing more camping im looking at buying an 02 plate frontera 2.2 dti and knowing the cost of the pump i was going to remove it from my mig and keep it to one side just in case i need it
would this be a good idea ??
