Things have been hard for a couple of years, sorry to contradict Zirk but things have turned around for me this year. Plenty of advertising, increase your internet presence and use all the contacts you can.
Best of luck

Don't know what it like in your part of the world but up here, its worse then shite :'(
Its a case of anything is better then nothing i'm afraid.
Hope it works out for you bud :)
-
I have a good reason for going self employed, and its not for the money ;) ;)
-
Well whatever your reason,I wish you good luck with it.Hope you get plenty of business.

I've been self-employed for years and in all that time haven't missed a single mortgage payment.
If you're the sort of person who worries about having good money one week and then SFA for the next month then I suggest you don't work for yourself.
P.S.......Don't expect to sleep well when it's time to pay the bills.
Good luck. :y :y :y :y

good luck with that Martin, hope your self employed as your own boss etc not through an agency / umnbrella company pile of shite they are
been self employed for years now own company and management positions on a freelance basis etc. But now you have to go through an umbrella company, why becuase the companies escape the 13.8% national Insurance which you get stung for by the Unmbrella company. Its actually worse than being Payee, so beware if you get offered such work they paint a pretty picture but its not.
Not only is work hard to come by they have made it very difficult to actually be employed as selfemployed the little tinkers
Only way around it is to set up a Limited Company which i am currently looking into, nothing is simple anymore ::) :y :y
