As said, unplug the power sounder
Its located in the engine bay, under the plastic windscreen scuttle (drivers side)

Also try the time delay unit for the rear fag lighter.  These have been known to lock on and draw current when you don't need it  ;)

****well guy's am i glad i signed up, after a new alternator 2 new battery's stuck the question on here,,,well,,,,
thanks to omega knight, tigers-gonads, alank46, symes and Dave DND and anybody else i've missed, i wired up the volt meter
checked all fuses for drawing the current no joy there, so time to dismantle to get into the powersounder only had to take off
small screw which left enough room for my hand to go through and unplug the powersounder "BINGO" the current on the meter dropped, checked the voltage in the morning & night spot on never moved,, big thanks again  :y

now remove the powersounder from the car, and dispose of in a fire-proof receptacle.

There's at least one tale on here of a duff powersounder catching fire whilst not even in the car.  :o

Leaving power sounders in the garage., yes holmes its what caused the fire, so they wer'nt left there to go for an insjrance claim. We will never know watson. :)
