Title: Indian Roast dinner
Post by: omegod on 18 May 2013, 22:21:54
As an alternative to the Sunday norm I occasionally make this dish,Jamie Olivers Empire roast chicken and it's phenomenal ! I know there are a few fans of Indian type food and heartily recommend this one.

Did a nice roast chicken yesterday, as it happens. Lemon and thyme up its' @rse, a little butter and a sprinkling of ras-el-hanout on the top and then into the kettle barbecue for 2 hours.  :P

Dropped a whole chicken in the slow cooker a few weeks ago for a little experiment.
Set it too medium and went out for a few hours to let it cook in its own juices.

Absolutely lovely  :)
The meat just fell off the skin and bone
