they just switched on the free messaging I know this because emails  telling me that people I have no intention of ever wanting to talk to again are appearing steadily in my inbox :(

i've messaged a few people who i didnt like from school, i await results, would love to see if any of them want to push their luck with me now, since i'm certain a few of them are still as juvenile as they were back then (me being one of them)

i am registered on there but i tend not to get in touch with those who i lost touch with......or even those i don't want to be in touch with.

The past is where it should be, left in the past

I had an old girlfriend contact me, a 'girl friend' contact me and a mate, who turned out to work for IBM at the same time I did, but in Australia, so i used the internal corporate instant messaging to talk to him a lot, he couldnt beleive it when the 1st message popped up on his screen  ;D

Lost touch with em all again  ;D

I joined up soon after it started.  Trouble is, I only recognise about 40% of the names - the others weren't at my school.  It isn't my memory, 'cos I dug the old school photgraphs, and I can still name everybody in them (almost).

The weird thing is that there are half-a-dozen women on there, but I was at an all-boys school. :(

Surely six of my contemporaries can't have changed their names and their sex? :)

Same here, anyone I have not seen for over twenty years couldn't have been that close a friend to begin with :exclamation
