Title: Air bag light

Hi guys

I hope you can help get my omega home safe and sound but the airbag light is on.

Does any 1 know why this could be or how to turn it off?
I am based near Manchester if that helps

It will need scanning to see why its on. A nomal cheap reader wont sort it. Could be moving a seat has disturbed a sensor or the ecu is buggered as was mine. Steer clear of vauxhall as it will cost, you 60 for a scan

As already said its needs a code reader but don't be afraid to drive it as when the light is on the system is disabled :y

Don,t worry Ryan, my air bag light has been on for the last 4 years with no probs.
Only one fly in the ointment, since March it,s been a MOT failure :'(

Airbag light on means the system is disabled. Worth getting it sorted (ignoring the MOT and insurance issues), was a thump in the gob with an airbag is less painful than eating a steering wheel.

It was a non present 31 which I was thinking was the usual plugs under the seat. Turned off no problems.

But still an advisory if the bulb is not working  ;), but Im not suggesting you take the bulb out.
