2000 X Reg 2.5 V6 Elite Auto Estate
This is certainly not a perfect car, but would be ok with some work. It looks quite good. I’ve had to really think about whether to hang onto it and sort it out, but I just don’t have the time or the skills. Also, I need the space. I’ve spent a lot on it during the last year but don’t seriously expect to get it all back.
I dislike playing games so I’ve tried to be up front about all the issues and problems that I am aware of. There’s no point in someone turning up to look at it and then walking away immediately due to something that I already knew about.
The Bad
Smallish dent rear bumper – See pics
Scrape down one side – See pics
Usual small stone chips etc, but overall not bad looking
Lever missing from glove compartment (it does open and close)
Nearside wing mirror has had a bash, no visible damage but it’s loose and does not stay in position.
Radio/CD problem see link for details. Old broken unit and non Bose second unit included, but you will need to sort out whatever the problem is.

The Good
Just under 90k Miles. HPI checked at 84k
Cambelt kit/water pump done in December 2012
Headgasket & Oil cooler done in December 2012
Runs well, just been to France and back no problem
Taxed till Dec 2013
MOT till ???? Need to find the certificate, deffo some time will post again with details
Good newish front tyres, rear ok for a while
Seats and interior etc all in good condition
HPI check done last year, and all good. Used to belong to a funeral director !
£ ????? Not actually sure yet. I want to be sensible.
Main reason for sale, just got a 2003 MV6. I don’t really need or have the space or the money for two Omega estates.

£650 ono. I think that's reasonable, but I'm sure that somebody who's interested will tell me that it's way OTT ;D

Seems a very fair price imo Rog.Sounds and looks like a good low mileage car which needs a little bit of cosmetic tidying. :y

No takers, or even nibbles. I'm beginning to think that it may be heading for the scrapheap afer I've stripped anthing of use.
Pity, it drives very well and I almost decided to keep it for the Mrs instead of her Volvo. I'm away for the weekend, I'll decide when I'm back.

I've been kinda tied up with other stuff, and also unable to find the MOT Certificate so I had to call my garage.
They tell me it runs until 21 Jan 2014 and I am in the process of getting a duplicate.

Duplicate certificate now obtained.
MOT Expires 20th feb 2014
Tax expires end Dec 2013
