Title: Tomorrows a big day

I don't normally moan or whinge on here but have been having a rough time for the last couple of months, a new firm won the contract for the service we provide and I know the new budget is a lot smaller than it was.I have had a couple of consultations with them and I know my operations manager role doesn't fit very well within their proposed structure so I will find out at 11:30 am if I have been job matched or not, to say I am cacking myself is an understatement :(  Tupe applies but it doesn't mean a great deal these days and any redundancy would be paltry.

Positive vibes sent out my way around 11:25 am please  :y

Will it be a yes/no type of meeting or do you still have the chance to influence the outcome.?

Either way, hope things go well for you. I'll send out vibes but they might not get that far.......... :y

Never good to lose a job.Hope all goes well for you.Will try the positive vibe thing,don't know as it'll help,but sure can't hurt!

Good luck with the meeting, I was in the same postion several years ago and I was the only casualty in a merger of two companies (Ops Manager) and I was pretty cheesed off to say the least - but - I now have a job I love and it is better salary and better prospects and I don't miss the old job at all.  Just remember that as one door closes another one opens and whatever happens tomorrow it is just a speed bump in the road and you will move on - whatever the direction.

Don't worry matey, remember we are all in hand of God and often seems you loose something but in the reality won some much greater just you recognise it later... :y

Ahhh shite....only offered 50% role as I didn't jobmatch to a full time role, we had a restructure a few months ago which crucially changed my job description from project manager up to operations manager and this has knackered me, the ones who got project manager jobs aren't worth a carrot compared to me.

Hey ho trying to keep positive and hoping I can challenge it or something may change!
