Anybody use a courier to collect something in London? (It is a 10Kg computer base unit). Seller won't do the hassle but is fine If I organise it?
Slight complication as it is coming to Spain. I don't mind setting up an account with a courier if that helps the process.
If so who do you use? Do they charge extra for the collection element of the job?

I arranged a similar collection for a m/cycle seat from an ebay purchase
The seller shipped the item bare of any packing what so ever. Just stuck a label with my address on the base & it turned up scuffed to hell. When I messaged him about this, he said he thought the courier who collected it would take care of any additional boxing etc....... :o

Beaten to it ::) Good choice though. Small cautionary note though, try and find out who is the courier in Spain as last time I used P2G they offloaded it to SEUR, a french parent outfit and they refused to come up the mountain, I had to go to the main depot in Almeria to collect. Just make sure whoever is the delivery courier that they can actually get to your place with no trouble.
Good luck
Jon
PS. You could have had it couriered to Scotland and it would have been back with you around the end of the month!

I normally prefer the Postal service as they leave a note saying couldn't deliver. Parcel is then available for collection at lunchtime. The couriers, like you say, can't be bothered to go into the countryside. If you are lucky they ring you.
