Fitted new track/ tie rod to drivers side 2.2 dti estate, the steering wheel is slightly to the left.Could i adjust the centre  section clock or anti clockwise to get it straight. :-\

			-
you need to lengthen the drivers side.its impossible to say which way because they can be fitted side to side as well as back to front.

Tracking not right mate-Hold wheel straight when doing tracking-reckon its out mate-And no you cannot adjust centre link-it is solid

i presumed the centre section he was refurring to was the bit connecting the two ball joints at the drivers end .

Ooh silly me got wrong end of stick -thought OP on about centre bar adjustment--sorry :-[

Sorry I meant the middle section with the two pinch bolts between outer and inner balljoints. If i turn the middle  section clockwise it should lengthen  it. :-\ :y

When changing track rods-you need tracking gear or go and get it done-WIM is where most recommended-I do my own as got tracking gear  :y

I will get a full geometric setup when  I do further work.Idler arm next and might as well change left side track rod.Bought a 96 x20xev for spares ,it has two new lower control arms would they fit 02 dti.
