My 2 cats Bella and Merlin are laying in the sun-what's the point of them sunbathing-they got fur? weird animals :D

But cats are definitely weird, ours woke me at 4 this morning howling in rage because he couldn't get in the wardrobe!

Dunno about cats.....but its vitamin D3 from sunlight for us humans......and its the only to get it naturally.....only other way is  popping vit D3 tabs

cats dont make d vitamin from the sunshine, instead they get  it from food :)
 
but they also like to heat their bones under the sun.. and also like to take a dust bath under sun to clear their fur.. :y

The surplus dust then being deposited on our bed, blooming thing; Miss Vamps loves him though and the damn thing bullies our old Lab off her bed, she needs to 'grow a pair'.......... ::) ::) ::)

My old cat use to lay in the sun he got to hot to touch, So did my old Staffie girl. Needless to say she got called hot dog most of the time. Original don't ya think?  ::)

You would not like our house then, our kitten is still sleeping in the bed with us  :o She only gets out when weather weather is warm enough.
If where not in the bed then she gets in the airing cupboard. She truly likes to be warm  :y

My old cat use to love getting under the covers. He was a thug and a lunatic but I loved him loads. Still miss that silly old moggy
