Title: TD Starter motor required please

My starter is letting me down, so I either replace it, or re-furb it, anyone done this?

Would have thought plenty of used ones kicking around at a BMW type Breakers or online.

Thanks Zirk, I have got one now.  :y I am still interested in refurbing my spare. I may just try releasing fluid followed by thin oil.
