Title: Blown up 2.5 CDs

Hi all hope your doing well

On Saturday a friend of mine was at a drift event and his mig 2.5 auto has cooked we have been looking at engine replacements seeing as we have the opportunity we might put the 3.0 in will the standard 2.5 box deal with the extra power of this engine?

No.The 2.5 uses the AR25 version,the 3.0 uses the AR35. The AR25 wont last very long when bolted to a 3.0.
You should be able to pick up an AR35 for around £100 or so.

why not change to a proper gearbox while you're at it ?
